Clubs that have qualified for the 2026/2027 Champions League

The race for places in the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League is beginning to take shape, with several of Europe’s biggest clubs already securing qualification for next season’s competition.
UEFA will once again use the expanded 36-team league phase format introduced in recent seasons, with the remaining spots to be decided through domestic league finishes and qualification rounds across Europe.
UEFA has also confirmed that both England and Spain have earned additional league-phase spots through the European Performance Spots system, rewarding the two best-performing associations in European competitions this season.
As it stands, multiple clubs across Europe’s top leagues have already confirmed their places in the 2026/27 Champions League.
Premier League — England
The Premier League already has several confirmed representatives for next season’s Champions League.
Arsenal F.C., Manchester City F.C. and Manchester United F.C. have all booked qualification, while additional English clubs are expected to join them thanks to the extra European Performance Spot secured by England.

La Liga — Spain
La Liga has one of the strongest early representations in the competition.
European giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF headline the confirmed Spanish clubs, while Villarreal CF and Atlético Madrid have also secured qualification. Spain’s additional performance-based slot could see even more La Liga clubs enter the competition.

Serie A will once again feature some of Italy’s top sides in Europe’s elite competition.
