Premier League Announces Six-Man Shortlist for November 2025 Manager of the Month Award
The Premier League has unveiled the six managers shortlisted for the November 2025 Manager of the Month Award, an honour designed to celebrate coaches who guided their teams to standout performances throughout the month. November delivered memorable results across the league, particularly among clubs in the top half of the table, but only six managers made the final cut.
Below is the full list of nominees and a breakdown of their impressive runs.
1. Mikel Arteta – Arsenal
Mikel Arteta leads the nominees after steering Arsenal through an unbeaten month as they continue their push for a first Premier League title since 2004.
The Gunners recorded two wins and two draws in four matches. They opened November with consecutive away fixtures, defeating Burnley 2–0 at Turf Moor before sharing a 2–2 draw with Sunderland. Arsenal then secured an emphatic 4–1 North London Derby victory over Tottenham Hotspur and wrapped up the month with a battling 1–1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
2. Unai Emery – Aston Villa
Despite a rocky start, Unai Emery’s Aston Villa rallied to finish the month strongly. After a 2–0 loss to Liverpool, Villa bounced back with three straight wins.
A 4–0 home victory over Bournemouth set the tone for the revival, followed by a 2–1 comeback win away at Leeds United. They closed November with a determined 1–0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, securing their place in the top four.
3. Pep Guardiola – Manchester City
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City delivered one of their trademark attacking months, embarking on a goal-scoring spree. Their three victories included an impressive win over Liverpool and a dramatic 3–2 stoppage-time triumph against Leeds United. City’s attacking rhythm and late-game resilience made Guardiola a strong contender for the award.
4. Fabian Hürzeler – Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton, under Fabian Hürzeler, enjoyed an exceptional defensive month, conceding just one goal in four matches.
They opened with victories over Leeds United and Brentford before playing out a goalless draw with Crystal Palace. Brighton completed the month with a confident 2–0 win at Nottingham Forest, strengthening their reputation as one of the league’s most organised sides.
5. Enzo Maresca – Chelsea
Enzo Maresca guided Chelsea through an impressive unbeaten month featuring three wins and a draw.
The Blues kicked off November with a 1–0 win over Spurs, followed by a dominant 3–0 victory against Wolves and a 2–0 win at Burnley. Their winning streak ended with a dramatic 1–1 draw against Arsenal despite being reduced to 10 men, Chelsea led for large spells of the match before settling for a point.
6. Marco Silva – Fulham
Fulham enjoyed one of their strongest months of the season under Marco Silva, picking up three wins from four games.
Their standout moment came at the end of November with a historic 2–1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, featuring two quick-fire goals in the opening eight minutes. The win marked Fulham’s first-ever triumph at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
