Samuel Chukwueze Transfer Update: Trabzonspor Submit €15m Bid for AC Milan Winger

The future of Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze continues to generate speculation as the 2026/27 transfer window gathers momentum.

With club football set to resume following the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Super Eagles winger has emerged as one of the most talked-about Nigerian players in the transfer market, with fresh reports linking him to a move away from AC Milan.

According to reports from Turkey, Trabzonspor have intensified their pursuit of Chukwueze by submitting a €15 million (approximately ₦23 billion) bid to AC Milan as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.

The 25-year-old endured a frustrating spell with the Rossoneri, struggling to establish himself as a regular starter before spending part of last season on loan at Fulham. With AC Milan expected to reshape their squad this summer, the Nigerian winger could now be set for a fresh start elsewhere.

Trabzonspor have reportedly identified Chukwueze as their priority target for the right-wing position and are eager to finalize a deal in the coming weeks.

Reports also suggest that the proposed transfer package could include a mandatory purchase clause, which would be triggered if certain performance-related conditions are met.

Although AC Milan are yet to officially respond to the reported offer, negotiations are expected to continue as the Turkish club pushes to secure the signature of the former Villarreal star.

A move to Trabzonspor could provide Chukwueze with the consistent playing time needed to rediscover his best form while joining a club with lofty ambitions for the 2026/27 season.

The Turkish side will compete in the Turkish Super Lig, Turkish Cup, Turkish Super Cup, and UEFA Europa League next season, making attacking reinforcements a key part of their summer recruitment strategy.

While no agreement has been officially reached, Trabzonspor are currently understood to be leading the race for Chukwueze’s signature as the summer transfer window continues to gather pace.
