Mikel Arteta Provides Injury Update on Saliba, Gabriel, and Havertz Ahead of Key Fixtures

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has offered a fresh update on the fitness of several key players, including first-choice defenders William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães, as the club prepares for a demanding run of fixtures.

Saliba picked up an injury during Arsenal’s clash against Chelsea, while Gabriel sustained his setback while on international duty with Brazil. Arteta confirmed that both defenders will miss action for a number of weeks.

Speaking to the media, the Arsenal boss said the club is hoping for a quick recovery for Saliba and Leandro Trossard, although the nature of Saliba’s injury remains unusual.

“For William Saliba and Leandro Trossard, hopefully it’s a matter of days. For Saliba, this one is a very bizarre injury, but hopefully it will be a short time out.”

On Gabriel Magalhães, Arteta revealed that the Brazilian is making progress but still needs time before returning to full fitness.

“Gabriel Magalhães is doing very well, but it will take weeks to see him back.”

Arteta also addressed the condition of Kai Havertz, who remains sidelined with a more long-term issue.

“Kai Havertz is still weeks away. We are all desperate to have him. It’s a player I love so much for what he brings to the team his character, his personality. I see him suffer being outside.”

With December’s fixture congestion approaching, Arsenal fans will be hoping for a timely return of their injured stars as the team looks to maintain momentum across all competitions.

If you want a shorter news update, a headline variation, or a social media caption, I can create that too!
