The announcement came from Mavin founder Don Jazzy, who shared a heartfelt backstory highlighting persistence, talent, and timing. According to him, Cupid Fszn’s journey with the label started four years ago when the artist’s father sent a demo of his then-17-year-old son. The message went unnoticed at first due to Don Jazzy’s overflowing inbox, but the young talent didn’t stop pushing.

Two years later, Cupid Fszn resurfaced—this time catching the attention of the Mavin team. His consistency earned him a spot in the Mavin Academy, the label’s intensive talent development program known for producing breakout stars like Rema, Ayra Starr, and Magixx.

Now 21, Cupid Fszn has completed his training and is ready for his official introduction to the world. His debut EP, Myth Era, showcases a fresh, dynamic sound that adds a new spark to Mavin Records’ already diverse roster.
