In a recent interview, the producer revealed that the collaboration with Buju Banton came together unexpectedly during a trip to Jamaica. What was initially planned as a vacation quickly evolved into a studio session after his team connected with the iconic reggae artist at his home. Spinall explained that he had sent Buju Banton several instrumental tracks ahead of time, and when the reggae legend selected the beat that resonated most with him, it turned out to be the same instrumental Spinall had already envisioned for the song.

“That just told me right there, ‘Okay, we’re locked in,’” Spinall recalled.
