Nigerian singer Blessing Akiode Mariam, popularly known as Candy Bleakz, has sparked widespread concern after a disturbing video of her surfaced online, showing the moments immediately after she was reportedly robbed in Cape Town, South Africa.

In the clip, the fast-rising star appears visibly shaken as she recounts how her valuables were stolen despite the presence of security officers nearby. Candy Bleakz expressed frustration over the incident, stating that the officers failed to act even though, according to her, the thief could have been easily apprehended.

She went on to say that if the same situation had occurred in Nigeria, the culprit would likely have been caught and her belongings recovered. According to her, the suspects were still within reach at the time of the robbery, yet no intervention was made.

Candy Bleakz revealed that jewelry worth about ₦10 million was carted away. The video also showed her with a bleeding injury on her face, which she later covered with a handkerchief while continuing to narrate the experience.
