Young Jonn Announces New Release Date for Highly Anticipated Album Blue Disco

Nigerian hitmaker Young Jonn has officially confirmed a new release date for his much-anticipated album, Blue Disco. Originally slated for November 21, the album will now drop on Friday, November 28, 2025.

The singer-producer, born John Saviours Udomboso, postponed the project just a day before its initial rollout, citing rising insecurity across the country as the reason he could not move forward with a celebratory launch. In his earlier statement, he described the national situation as “unbearable,” calling for peace, unity, and responsible leadership.

Despite the delay, excitement surrounding Blue Disco has only grown. The album whose cover features a striking blue-themed portrait of Young Jonn comes loaded with a star-studded lineup of Nigerian and international artists. Confirmed collaborators include Rema, Olamide, Shenseea, Franglish, Focalistic, and two tracks each with Wizkid and Asake.

Blue Disco represents a major milestone in Young Jonn’s evolution from one of Nigeria’s most celebrated producers into a fully established recording artist. Following a run of chart-topping singles, the upcoming album is expected to blend Afrobeats, Amapiano, and global pop influences, further solidifying his rise as a leading force in contemporary African music.

Fans can now count down to November 28 as Young Jonn prepares to deliver one of the year’s most anticipated projects.
