The full nomination list for the highly anticipated 2026 BET Awards has been unveiled, with Nigerian music stars Wizkid and Asake making history ahead of the ceremony.

The Afrobeats superstars earned a groundbreaking nomination in the Best Group category, marking a significant moment for African music on the global stage. Their inclusion in a category traditionally dominated by established groups and duos highlights the growing international influence of Afrobeats and further cements their status as two of Nigeria’s biggest music exports.
