P-Square Sparks New Rift Rumors After Unfollowing Each Other on Instagram

The famous Nigerian music duo, P-Square, may once again be facing internal tension as both brothers Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) and Peter Okoye (Mr P) have unfollowed each other on Instagram.

The move, which fans noticed on Monday, October 13, 2025, has reignited speculation about a possible fallout between the twin brothers who have long been icons of the Afrobeats scene.

While neither Peter nor Paul has made any public comment about the situation, the news has stirred concern among fans who still recall the duo’s previous separations.

P-Square, originally disbanded in 2017 due to family and management disagreements, reconciled in 2021 after a four-year hiatus. Their reunion was widely celebrated across Africa and beyond symbolizing brotherhood, growth, and maturity. However, reports of another separation surfaced in 2023, leaving fans uncertain about the group’s future.

Adding to the tension, Peter Okoye had earlier hinted on social media that the P-Square brand might be gone for good. Responding to a fan who suggested the duo’s time had passed, he wrote:

“There will be nothing like P-Square forever. There is time for everything.”

He also stated that he is now “his own Square,” while referring to his brother Paul and their former manager, Jude Okoye, as “the new P-Square.”

Now, with the latest Instagram activity drawing public attention once more, fans are wondering is this the end of P-Square for good, or just another temporary storm between the brothers?

As of now, both artists continue to focus on their solo careers, but one thing is certain: the P-Square story remains one of Nigeria’s most dramatic and emotional musical sagas.
