Fast-rising Afrobeats sensation Mavo has officially announced his first major headline concert in Lagos, aptly titled MAVO LIVE. The highly anticipated show is set to take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the vibrant Livespot Entertarium, adding to the already stacked lineup of events in Lagos’ bustling December entertainment season.

The announcement, made earlier today, has stirred excitement among fans, many of whom have been eager to see the breakout star take the stage in a full headline capacity. Born Oseremen Ukanigbe Marvin, the 21-year-old artist has enjoyed a meteoric rise in 2025, swiftly becoming one of the most talked-about new voices in Afrobeats. His high-energy fusion of Afrobeats, street influences, and catchy Nigerian slang has helped him amass a rapidly growing fanbase. His viral hit Escaladizzy, along with its remix Escaladizzy II featuring Zlatan, dominated TikTok trends and major streaming platforms.

Mavo’s journey began with his debut project Ukanigbe, followed by two impressive EPs, SANKO and Kilometer. Each release further cemented his identity and the vibrant “Burbur Music” sound he has become known for. With his energetic delivery and confident presence, he stands out as one of the leading voices in Nigeria’s new wave of emerging artists.

Taking place during Lagos’ iconic Detty December festivities, the MAVO LIVE concert is expected to draw a massive crowd of fans and music lovers. More updates including ticket details and announced performers are expected in the coming weeks.
