Dapper Completes Prestigious Harvard Business School Entertainment Programme
Damilola “Dapper” Akinwunmi, founder and CEO of Dapper Group, has added another significant achievement to his growing list of accomplishments after successfully completing the prestigious Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports programme at Harvard Business School in June 2026.
The entertainment executive announced the milestone on his Instagram page, where he reflected on the transformative experience of learning alongside some of the most influential figures across the global entertainment, sports and media industries.
The highly regarded programme brought together a diverse group of professionals, executives and elite athletes from around the world. Among the participants were acclaimed actor Jay Ellis, widely recognized for his roles in Insecure and Top Gun: Maverick; Eduardo Camavinga, midfielder for Real Madrid and the French national team; South African football legend Siphiwe Tshabalala; former Chelsea FC defender Ryan Bertrand; former NBA champion Festus Ezeli; NFL stars Jeff Okudah and Kelvin Beachum; as well as Olympic gymnast Frederick Richard.
The programme also featured senior executives from some of the world’s leading music companies, including Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group. Their participation created a dynamic environment for collaboration, strategic discussions and knowledge exchange on the future of the global entertainment business.
Designed specifically for leaders operating at the intersection of entertainment, media and sports, the Harvard Business School programme explores critical topics such as leadership, innovation, monetization strategies, audience engagement, emerging technologies and the evolving dynamics of the global cultural economy.
